Post subject: question about cd rom catalog
Archived from groups: comp>sys>ibm>pc>hardware>cd-rom (more info?)

Hi I have been having a strange problem with my cd-rw drive. I have
spendt the afternoon going through old cds and I accidently put a cd
that I had spilled some liquid on.

Anyway after I ejected the cd I checked other cds and I notced that
the catalog numbers for one cd were the same for all the other cds i
was checking. I tried to change the name in the properties but could
not.

I rebooted the computer and checked cds again and the same thing
happened after I ejected the first cd the same catalog info came up.

Any ideas?

Cliff
