hi people
i have just built a computer and as far as im aware everything is correctly in place.

well basically it is built went to put the power in and originally the motherboard lit up and the fan started but there were no beeps,
then someone said to me it was beacuse it was short cuirted and to make sure there was no metal touching, so then messed around some more and then put the power in again, this time there was nothing, no lights or anything on the motherboard (Although there was a short quick flash of light it then went dead)
can anyone make any suggestions of what this could be and how it can be fixed??
its not the RAM, as we have changed it with RAM known to be working,
i have also just put power to the motherboard with no other components attached and had the same problem here aswell
any help greatly appreciated
