everyone talks about cool and quiet but i cant find any settings for it in
BIOS. Ctrl + F1 only shows a few extra features but nothing about cool and
quiet.

There is a driver on the CD for your mobo that you have to install along
with the other drivers..

I installed my own setup and nothing when I put the Gigabyte CD in there's
no listing for it. My friend lost his Foxconn CD so I used mine and lo and
behold when it autoruns there in the list is cool and quiet. I just want
the PC to be quiet when surfing and it can be noisy when I play games but
alas it's all against me.
A gigabyte cd can install it on a foxconn board but not on it's own.
Typical Gigabyte, nothing is straight forward.
