Width=Diagonal/SQRT(1+(1/RATIO)^2)

Height=Diagonal/SQRT(1+(RATIO)^2)

Where RATIO = 16/10 for "widescreen" or 4/3 for "square"

Make yourself a small spreadsheet and have fun.

I was just remined that 19" "square" LCD's are unique in that they
have a 5/4 aspect-ratio. All other "square" LCD's are 4/3.
