I currently have a cable modem installed on the LAN port. I will be getting
DSL. I want to compare the two to see which is best for me. Question: Can
I have both on the computer at the same time and be able to choose which one
is in use? I have windows XP. Assume the DSL mode would connect to a USB
port.

Thanks

I think I can already predict that the one attached to the USB port will
lose. Why in the world do you want to do that?

You can probably install both and disable one at a time to do your
experiment.
