Can someone tell me how I can extend my network more than 30 meters?

Answer: use a hub in the middle and get long wires either side.

It's a long story... but my problem is that I can get an electrical
supply in the middle - which would be needed for the hub?

Can I get a 50 meter long cable?
Or can I get an 'electric supply free' hub?

Thanks.
