I have a friend who bought this DVD/RW drive by Lite-On (LDW401S) and
it is only DVD+. I have heard of a firmware hack that turns it into a
+ -. Anyone know where to get it along with the correct flash utiltiy
for this hack? Thx.

Can't close my Toshiba CD-ROM drive? - Hello. I have a Toshiba DVD-ROM SD-M1212 drive that refuses to close with or without a CD/DVD when the computer is on. If I turn off the computer and power it on, the drive closes and stays close. I can reopen it if I want, but then it won't close...
