I've downloaded some large files over the internet
that I would like archive to a cd, but they are around
800 megs for a single file...

Is there some way to edit the file or even to cut off the
end to make it fit on a cd?

Thanks!
Ter

Winzip supports splitting ZIP files into parts to make them fit on
multiple media. You need a fairly recent version of Winzip to make this
possible. However it may be possible if the file format is not already
compressed that it will zip up to less than 700 MB.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Mainlander,
Thanks, I'll do that... I forgot about Winzip.
I was hoping to save it on a CD so it was
playable without unzipping it though...
