Hi Ed,
With my E6600, evga 8800 GTS, at 3.0GHz, I get 3DMark06 of 8630. When I OC
the video card, I can get up to 10,209.
What video drivers are you using? I'm using 7.15.11.6003, 4/27/07
(unreleased)
It would be interesting to see a back-to-back comparison of one video card
vs. two.
Thanks,

I am using the new drivers released Fri I believe........at least
sometime last week. Check www.guru3d.com and they are the latest Vista
drivers. I am going to do a reinstall of 3dmark06 and see if something went
wrong there. Your GTS should be pretty close to the GTX when you overclock
it. I have the EVGA Superclocked GTXs and they are oveclocked from the
factory and I really don't think I will go further. They seem to run
anything I need to do very well. Let me know and I will run it single and
double and we can compare notes. I originally was going to use 2 GTSs
instead of GTXs and I would like to see how they compare in similiar systems
too.

Simulations like FSX are perfect examples of a bare hook for SLI
tuna fish to bite on.
How stupid do you have to be to miss the big picture ? They're
playing you for a fool.
Don't take this personal, I just don't know any way to sugar coat
it. >> Stay informed about: OC'ing can be fun |

Please give me a link that shows that with the NV8xxx series in SLI does NOT
perform better than a single card. I don't want to see any old 3DFX articles
because that was a completely different implementation. ATI's Crossfire
needs just a bit of work, but even they perform better than single cards. I
am not going to blow smoke in your face, because SLI is nowhere near twice
the speed, but there is a very noticeable difference in SLI vs single. Is it
worth the extra money?..........Well, that is completely up to the buyer. It
is much like performance parts vs stock parts in an automobile. Do you want
to spend the extra money??????? It is up to the individual. It is simply a
choice. It doesn't make them a 'fish' or 'stupid'. I respect your positition
but it isn't the only one.
