i have a fuji finepix 2600zoom camera and i can't get it to work as a webcam
the pc does not recognise it any suggestions?

It will certainly work as a webcam. Read the manual and ascertain which
connection mode is required to be set, I don't have my manual handy.
Having said that it is completely useless as a webcam unless you have
lighting that is equivalent to equatorial midday sun! Don't waste your
time.

Eric,
You might try reinstalling your "FinePix" software. It will uninstall,
then reinstall the programs.
Being that there is no light source from the camera, you will need to be
in brighter environment than normal, but day light or a brightly lit room
will give you some real good results. But remember this in not a "Video"
camera.
Give it a try.
