Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>mainboard>msi-microstar (more info?)

I just built a new system using the MSI K8N Neo Platinum mobo in an
Antec Sonota case. I love the board and only have one small problem.
The USB ports plugged into the mobo (2 in the front of the case, & 2 on
the included D-bracket) do not seem to be working. Whenever I plug a
device, like a thumbdrive...) the led on the device blinks like it is
working, but it does not show up as a drive or as a new device... The
four leds on the D-bracket are all solid green, which I believe means
it is working fine, but no PnP.

Can anybody out there help me? I know I'm probably missing something
real simple. So I need to do something in the bios?

Thanks

You might look at this on Antec's site. (question #9). Problem wire
will be the brown one. Also question #10 about the firewire. I had
the same problem with this case and a K8N.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
