Post subject: Can't instal LAN on 7VJL

I have a 7VJL Apogee Deluxe, but the onboard LAN won't instal.
If I enable it in setup (is there anything else that needs doing in
setup?) then Windows 98 SE crashes into safe modes, or crashes when I try
to restart after loading the LAN software from the CD.
If I diasable in setup and unstal a Realtek 8139 card in one of the PCI
slots, that works fine.
Any thoughts?

Chaintech support have sent me a new bios. More after flashing it.

Handigator - Rellay need some help. Hust installed a new 9cjs and everything seems to be working ok except the Handigator. Are there drivers, bois setting's, etc required to get this to work? Do I need to install IR support to XP? Any help will be great. Steve
