Post subject: installing new ram
Archived from groups: comp>sys>ibm>pc>hardware>chips (more info?)

my motherboard has four slots - coloured blue, black, blue, black. the two
blues currently have 128MB each in them (so total was 256)

ive now been given a stick of 512MB PC3200 DDR ram to put in my machine. how
should i arrange the three sticks in the four slots for maximum performance?

thanks!
