Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>mainboard (more info?)

I have a gateway computer with a jabil athlon motherboard. It has an
upgraded 1200 chip and has been running fine for years now. Lately
it's been just totally locking up ... in linux and windows. I've
tried removing all the pieces of hardware one at a time with no luck.
Could this possibly be a bad power supply or would the machine totally
shut off due to this?
