I have an old version of the mainboard.

2400XP @ 2200 Mhz
ddram 512mb 2x147mhz
geforce4 ti4800SE Creative/MSI @ 300/660 mhz

Everything is fine, no crashes and BHD runs smoothly.

But when the pc is a time off and I put it back on, the cmos settings are
lost. My promise fasttrack TX2 won't boot normally. I first have to take out
the fasttrack, then making changes to te bios. Then the fasttrack in place
and making again changes to the bios and then everything is fine until de pc
is a while off.

Who know's solving this problem?

I try now if it happens also with 2x133 mhz.

Hi Harrie,
Had the same problem with my pro board. Replaced the CR2032 CMOS
battery and now all is fine.

I solved it by keeping the resetbutton 10 seconds while powering on the PC.
No problems after that.

Hi. I hard soldered a battery case with two AA cells hoping this would
solve the bend clips etc issue, no chance!!
Just ordered an Arock board and will give up computing if this loses cmos as
well!!!<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Thanks, and now I have fixed by 2200XP being recognised as a 1500 by
changing the BUS/Memor speed from 100/100 to 133/133.

But, not fixed my USB problem of IR dongle not working properly, it
seems to half connect to my phone, but disconnects straight away.
