Download Memtest86 and run it overnight to see if you are error free.

I had to set my k7vza set to the least agressive settings, and then the
instability went away. Your 1.2 is rather hard on that crappy voltage
reguator on that board. I would guess a slower thunderbird or faster
palomino would get rid of your problems.

freeze:
mouse freeze on the monitor, image is fixed, ctrl+alt+canc doesn't
work, if was playing a wav/mp3/sound, the last second go into loop.
Only reset work. If i power-down, the num-lock led stay on...

Here the memory (3 slot):
a) TwinBios Tech (M.Tech) 128MB PC133 8M*16 (double side),
row=12, col=9, #bank=2, cas=3, module density=64Mbyte
b) VT 3612804T-7H 128MB PC133 16M*8 (single side),
row=12, col=10, #bank=1, cas=2, module density=128Mbyte
c) SP6408 0203 128MB PC133 8M*16 (double side),
row=12, col=9, #bank=2, cas=3, module density=64Mbyte
d) MP0211L1616F 128MB PC133 16M*16 (single side),
row=13, col=9, #bank=1, cas)3 module density=128Mbyte

That the result:
a + b + c = crash in 1-4 hours
a + b + d = crash in 2-5 minutes
a + b OR a + c = crash at start of windows 2000/xp
(STOP error 0x000000c2 ---> for the ms support caused by memory)
b + c = crash in 6-7 hours
a alone OR b alone OR c alone OR d alone: working

Ufff it's boring.. i want back my 440bx Sad

Hi,
I had the same problem. My system runs rock-hard since I downgraded my BIOS to version 3.4.
I tried all the nice things as you did, but without success!

Hope that helps!
Klaus

Downgraded? You means if i'll use the 3.4 instead of 3.7 it will work?
Neutral
Arg i have just installed a single stick of 512MB kingston, and the
problem persist: the only way is using a single stick of 128MB (damn!)
I'll try to downgrade the bios....or i'll trash that fu**ing
video-card!
