I checked the Matrox web site and there are no linux drivers planned
for the Millenium card I bought in '96 and I'm not surprised. I want
to install Mandrake 9 and was wondering if there was any other source
where I can find a driver that would be compatible with the Millenium
and Mandrake? Thanks

The XF86_SVGA driver in Xfree86 supports the Matrox Millennium boards.

You can find the full list at <http://www.xfree86.org/cardlist.html>

It is supported natively by all Linux X11 servers from the 7 years.
Mandrake will detect it and set it up properly out of the box.
