Post subject: Does this make sense? Device Manager question...
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>mainboard>gigabyte (more info?)

Under Universal Serial Bus Controllers I have the following:

Generic USB Hub
Generic USB Hub
Intel(R) 8280 1EB USB Universal Host Controller - 24D2
Intel(R) 8280 1EB USB Universal Host Controller - 24D2
Intel(R) 8280 1EB USB Universal Host Controller - 24D7
Intel(R) 8280 1EB USB Universal Host Controller - 24DE
Intel(R) 8280 1EB USB Universal Host Controller
Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller
USB High Speed Serial Converter
USB Root Hub
USB Root Hub
USB Root Hub
USB Root Hub
USB Root Hub

This seems incredible excessive. I have a GA-8IK1100 that I just installed.

I have a Belkin USB Hub and a Hub on my Viewsonic P815 monitor.

In other devices I have USB Serial Port trying to do something but failing and
was getting an SM USB Port device trying to install.

Is this normal????
