I have a P4S Dragon Ultra and my 1.7ghz processor is gone. It says
that I can only put in between a 1.5ghz - 2.2ghz but I have had a
2.4ghz processor in there at one point and it was fine. This was just
for testing but I am wondering if it is ok to put a faster procesor in
there long term that is a higher speed than what they recommend?

Thanks

I have been using a pentium 4 2.4G processor in my p4s dragon ultra for
over two years with no problem. Be sure that you have upgraded the bios
to the latest revision though.

I have been using a 2.4 Gig processor in my P4S dragon Ultra for over
two years with no problems. Be sure to upgrade the bios to the latest
revision.
