i just flashed my BIOS to the latest on the website. Now when it posts i
see a section of the post screen that shows the memory as DDR266@200. I
have DDR400 and i wonder how i do i get it to DDR400 or am i
misinterpretting the data.

It sounds like it is running at DDR400 speed although it is not reading the
SPD properly. I have DDR400 ram too but I run them at DDR333 speed cuz the
mobo cannot handle too high of an FSB. It comes up as DDR400@166 in dual
channel.
