What's wrong with Fry's? I've bought thousands of dollars of stuff there

Nothing wrong with Fry's. I've bought thousands of dollars of stuff there
also. But in the PC components dept they usually only have "middle of the
road parts". It's unusual to find high end memory and stuff there.

Mushkin, OCZ, Corsair and now even Kingstom with their Hyper Z line all make
high grade, very OC friendly memory. Considering they deal in PC3200, 3500, 3700
and 4000 grade memory parts, I am not surprised you got a nice OC out of the
memory. What may not pass their testing standards doesn't mean it won't work
in any given situation at a faster clock.

What else do you need to know? Mushkin is high end memory, very capable of
going past its stated limits, based on the tests I've read.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

I thought there might be some references to it some place so I could see
what Mushkin's published specs on it are. Some large retailers have products
specially made for them. Maybe that's the case here. donno. It sure seems
like pretty good memory I now have it stable at 233, 1:1, 2.5,3,3,7. Haven't
seemed to reach it's upper limit yet.
