hello,
i am putting together 2 systems:
1. intel p4 (520 or 530j) (p5gdc-v deluxe)
2. amd athlon 64 3000+ (a8v-deluxe)
and need advice on memory:
specs are ddr1
184 pin (4 banks)
non-ecc, unbuffered, 400 pc3200
won't be for gaming HOWEVER need a reliable (good) brand.
(don't want to be troubleshooting ram)
not even sure how much to get (512 mbs or 1 gb?) and whether to get a
kit (i guess the kits have the heatsinks or spreaders)
any advice is greatly appreciated!
thanks!

New memory in old PC? - What are the odds that I can take a spare 128MB memory module, yanked from a recently bought PC, and install it into an old Pentium PC (ca. 1997)? The old PC currently has 80MB, and obviously I can compare the old and new memory to see if the new modul...
Memory has different value in two PCs? - Hi, I just bought a 2nd hand 512M 133 SDRAM. When I put it (on its own) in an Athlon 800 PC it says it is a 256M chip but when I put it in an old K6/2 500 PC it reports it as 511M. Anyone got any idea why this is? Regards, John Smith.
Memory choice ??s' - I need some more memory for a new computer that I built up. Just 32MB now. Would like to get to 512MB at least. I did pick up on some OfficeMax and bestBuy rebaye specials but it is all one notch on the connection edge. And I need 2 notches. The MB..
