Post subject: microphone sounds low

after unistall dragon 6, my microphone sounds very very low.
what can i do to solve this problem, my Os is Xp home , computer is a
lap top toshiba, sound board is ali audioacce wdm driver.
I need HELP!!!

make srue the microphone settings havent changed at all in the sound
properties.

thanks for your help. but there are no changes in the sounds
properties.
dragon 6 made some changes, probably, when I was trainning voice
recognition. i dont know where the problem stills

Double click the volume control (usually bottom right corner of your screen,
looks like a lampshade or whatever!).

Volume control dialog comes up. Choose drop-down menu "Options" -> "Properties".
Select "Recording" and OK. Volume control dialog is back but settings are now for
Recording. Adjust as desired and close the windows.

The changes are in the sound mixer... review and adjust applicable
settings. If, with all volume settings (in the record devices') are at
max then check for a mic boost setting, enable it.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
