Post subject: Any new ASUS mobo and Intel 6750
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>mainboard>asus (more info?)

I am planning on getting either the ASUS P5K, or the ASUS P5W DH
Deluxe and want to pair it with the INtel Duo 6750 CPU.

My question is:

The latest BIOS on these motherboards support these CPU, if I receive
a motherboard with an older BIOS, will the PC boot up to allow me to
Flash to the up to date BIOS. Hope I have explained this OK.

Grateful for any motherboard recommendations around the £100 mark,
using the Intel chipset.
Many thanks,

darwin
