As far as I know there is no BIOS that allows you to set the
temperature of anything or allow you to use your CPU as a heating
element. (Although I guess it could.) There could be one with a
shutdown temp setting, but I would expect that to be based on the
processor Id and not a user adjustable item.

Hmmm... a Motherboard Monitoring utility?
A Motherboard Monitor? Have you tried a Google search?

Speedfan works fine for monitoring the motherboard and CPU temperatures
along with the voltages and SMART information.
