Asus P5K only has keyboard PS2 so when I made a post about it in this group
a couple of people said a PS2 splitter would solve the issue. Well, thanks
for wasting my time and money you twats because it does not work! When
putting both the keyboard and mouse onto a PS2 splitter only the keyboard
works and not the mouse. There must be something different about laptop PS2
ports for it to be able to work. I said it wouldn't work but, no, you guys
insisted it would. Well, it doesn't so STFU next time if you don't know what
the hell you are talking about.

You are correct in that not all PS/2 ports support a PS/2 splitter.
MOST laptops do, but not even all of them.

It has a PS2 Keyboard port but no similar mouse port, correct? Then either
buy a USB mouse or use a USB to PS2 adapter. I must have about five of
those laying around the house. Radio Shack has them for about $2.

You mean the other way around. USB --> PS2, better make that clear or
you'll be the next "numbnuts". LOL

The OP will need to mow a few more lawns or steal more
money from mommy's wallet to do that.

Because I have a PS2 KVM. As it is I am using a second wireless mouse for
the other PC and just use the KVM for keyboard and monitor. I need to buy a
KVM with USB and PS2 to solve this issue.

I have a few of those too how do you figure attaching a USB mouse to a PS2
adapter is going to solve the issue? There is only one PS2 port, some idiots
in this group told me to buy a PS2 splitter claiming it would solve the
issue. It doesn't and they made me waste my time and money by buying a PS2
splitter. Anyway, I am using a PS2 KVM and was trying to avoid having to buy
another KVM with USB and PS2. Buying one of those will mean having to mow at
least 5 lawns and I'm a lazy bastard so that is out of the question.

Oh well, the splitter was only five bucks so I always have one handy if I
should ever buy a Laptop that needs one. Which is highly unlikely. I'm just
going to have to cough up for a KIM with both USB and PEST. Thanks to Asus
only putting a keyboard PEST port on the mob.

Haha...Windows Mail spellchecker changed PS2 to PEST. I clicked change
instead of ignore.

How about you paying attention to what I said? My mouse is USB but I want to
use it attached to a PS2 KVM using a USB>PS2 adapter but the P5K mb only has
keyboard PS2 so I can't use the mouse on it and it is connected to USB for
now. On the other PC I have to use another mouse so that makes my KVM only
KV for now. Was told to buy a PS2 splitter by some morons in this group and
I am just telling them that it doesn't work so all they did was make me
waste my time and money.
