Actually i would have wished by now they would have rid us of the decades old
tech altogether. >> Stay informed about: For the numbnuts who told me to buy a PS2 splitter |

Do you have a list of Asus MBs you know the splitter works with?

You use a PS2 splitter on that mb? You just said you wished they would get
rid of PS2 completely so why would you use a PS2 splitter on that mb? Unless
you are lying. >> Stay informed about: For the numbnuts who told me to buy a PS2 splitter |

What kind of response is that? I know how to "figure it out". KVM with USB
and PS2 is the solution to the issue. The numbnuts in this group acting like
they actually know WTF they are talking about is the issue. I am now back to
square one. WTF did Asus put out a mb with just PS2 keyboard port and not
the mouse port too? The real issue here is Asus's shortsightedness in mb
design and my failing to notice the mb only has keyboard PS2. >> Stay informed about: For the numbnuts who told me to buy a PS2 splitter |

No, I think the real questions are: 1)Why did you buy, then not return,
a Mobo that obviously won't work with your setup? 2) With your
self-proclaimed technical knowledge, just how much research did you do
before buying it? 3) Why are you whining here? ASUS doesn't read this
group. People responded with good intent, yet you bash them. Give it a
rest, so if you should have future questions, you may get some assistance. >> Stay informed about: For the numbnuts who told me to buy a PS2 splitter |

Because I bought it long before I bought the cpu so once I realized it only
had keyboard PS2 it was too late to return it.

Where exactly did I make that proclamation? I researched it quite well, as I
do all the hardware I buy but I made an assumption that I shouldn't have
when I saw PS2 in the specs. Never seen a desktop mb with only keyboard PS2.
How about you? What's the point in a mb with only keyboard PS2? If someone
chooses to use PS2 they are going to want to use both mouse and keyboard
PS2. Asus dropped the ball, IMO.
3) Why are you whining here? ASUS doesn't read this

Yes they do. It's a good way for them to get feedback. Thus my post.
>People responded with good intent, yet you bash them. Give it a rest, so

Because they gave me misinformation which caused me to waste my time and
money. I don't need that kind of help, just as I don't need to be wasting my
time answering your questions. >> Stay informed about: For the numbnuts who told me to buy a PS2 splitter |

All I said was that it works for my Asus Commando MB. I dont give a rats ass
now that it doesnt work for you. My time is worth more than what I am wasting

I said i have used one on it. I had an older Logitech wireless keyboard mouse
set that used PS/2 connectors for the RF receiver. I used a belkin PS/2
splitter that was sitting in an old box of cables and it worked perfectly with
both mouse and keyboard. They each had to have their own connectors for the RF
box. I also have tried it directly with a PS/2 keyboard and mouse. I now
currently use a HP 5219 Multimedia keyboard via USB and a Microsoft wheel
mouse optical USB for my mouse. >> Stay informed about: For the numbnuts who told me to buy a PS2 splitter |

Yeah, I purposely sent you out to the store to buy the PS/2 splitter. Oh, BTW,
did you pick up the milk and eggs? You used them all up the last time you were
over. >> Stay informed about: For the numbnuts who told me to buy a PS2 splitter |
