nvidia 5900 fx problems

I have installed all the most recent drivers etc for directx and video
card.

I am playing the game Rainbow Six: Raven Shield by UBI and red storm.

I am playing Star Wars Galaxies.

I also have a nvidia 4600ti.

Raven Shield runs better with the 4600ti than the 5900fx. I get about
20 frames at best with the 5900 and about 50 with the 4600ti. Anybody
know the issue I may be having. Its like the card is junk.

I have have improved performance in starwars galaxies. But galaxies
is alittle flaky of a game to being with so I dont know if that is a
good test.
