Hi
I've been setting up a new laptop for a friend and transferring stuff from
his old one.
On his old XP Pro laptop, which he uses mostly for his business, there are
several network drives which appear in My Computer.
Of course most of these are unavailable while he is disconnected from his
business network.
However there is one network drive where I can access all the files. Files
and folders are set to "make available offline". The drive is assigned the
letter S.
But I cant work out where the offline content of drive S is being stored.
So I'm very curious. As far as I can see the laptop has only one drive with
one partition.
Is there a hidden folder which gets assigned a drive letter to store the
offline data?
Each of the network drives say "File System NT5CRC" - not sure if I've got
the syntax of that 100%, but I've not seen that before. Also the network
drives have an icon I've not seen before - a network drive with two small
green semi circular arrows in the bottom left corner.
I'd be grateful if any of you gurus out there can enlighten me.
Thanks very much.
Ian
