just installed omega drivers from omegadriver.net and cannot get radlinker
to lock in overclocking settings. I have enable clock settings checked and
can adjust the clock speed but the apply button is greyed out. BTW I have a
ati 9600xt. I uninstalled the cat 4.8 drivers and ran nasty file remover.
The omega drivers gave me a 300 point decrease on 3d mark 2003 than the cat
4.8

You need to click on the "Set" button, then the "Apply". You may
also want to set the startup speed ( again after you have clicked the
"Set" button, but before the "Apply" button.)

AFAIK, the 4.8 based Omega drivers aren't out yet.

When you click on the "Set" button, a pop-up should
appear that says it is successfully clocked at ...; do you
see this pop-up?

Make sure you have any "pop-up" and or registry
change, blocking software disabled/ turned off.

I enabled clock settings moved the sliders clicked set dialog box came up
saying that it over clocked but the apply box is greyed out. So I clicked
OK, at next boot it is back to default settings. I can get ati's overdrive
to clock at 526mhz. I have also tried radlinker with overdrive enabled and
disabled.

Well I'm wondering why Radlinker-shortcuts don't have any kind
of effect in games I set them for. For example, no anti-aliasing even
if I enable it for both DirectX and OpenGL from the shortcut
properties and AA is set to "Application preference" from the
drivers 3D-settings. It keeps my clock settings, tough.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Did you press "Use Current"-button after set-button ? Otherwise settings
don't stay after reboot.

Part of my first response to the OP:

"You need to click on the "Set" button, then the "Apply". You may
also want to set the startup speed ( again after you have clicked the
"Set" button, but before the "Apply" button.)
/Ken"

I think you may have said it better.
