Does ECS PT800 MB support fan speed control ? - I saw this nice deal in frys ( $190 for 3gz p4, and ECS pt800 ). I want to know if the PT800 will support the variable fan speed i.e. just monitor) the speed of cpu fan acocrding to ( using bios or perhaps..

bad cpu damages memory? - Replaced a k7s5a combo with another combo (this time with an xp1800). Decided to try the old cpu in the mobo. It booted fine, installed windoze, but was flakey. Put the new cpu in and same thing. Checked the two dimms and one has what looks..

mix memory on a K7S5A PRO ? - I currently use (2) PC2100 256MB sticks on my K7S5A PRO. I was thinking of replacing one stick with a 512MB, giving total memory to 768MB. Does the K7S5A PRO work well with different size memory sticks (DDR slots) ?

Memory for K7VTA3 - Is the a FAQ for memory and processor for ECS boards? For the K7VTA3 v8.0 in with a 2600+, what speed of memory will be needed? Thanks, -John

will pc 3500 work on this board? or is there a different voltage and/or pin
count? in other words if the above is true will pc3500 "fall back" to the
400 or pc3200 level but still be stable? thank you pete rynas

Don't know about the mobo in particular, but I have used pc3500
spec'ed memory w/o problem. Turns out my pc3500 no name brand memory
was not as fast as my pc3200 from Crucial tho, lol. Speed differences
were in access times per SPD info.
