I'm not sure your answer was complete. You make it sound as if no
6800 GS is capable of recording video, but I've seen ads for 6800 GS
cards with video in capability. To *tune* TV channels you need a
tuner card, but to simply record video from the output of a VCR or TV,
then a 6800 GS with input capability would work.
That being said, most 6800 GS cards do *not* implement video in.
