hi got laptop toshiba 1905-s301 with WIN XP Home Edition my internal CD-rom drive died and I need to format OS because of viruses, now the problem is how to do that, if internal CD doesn't work, I bought external CD-ROM drive but after instalation disk restarts Windows, it doesn't proceeds instalation process, just loads operating system as it always does, so I can't rocever system with external drive. what can I do? guess replacing internal CD-ROM costs lots of money, trying to find cheaper solution, thx for any help raf >> Stay informed about: recovery system problem with external drive
