Alright, with the video card and monitor that I've got, at my resolution I
have some options on the refresh rate. I've got it at 85Hz right now, but I
could go up to 90 or 100Hz. Is higher always better, or is 85 the ideal?

hi

whatever your eyes and your wallet prefer. set the refreshrate to what you
like (flickerfree)! but on "cheap" monitors/gf you may not be able to use
high resolutions. most people likes 75-85hz, but.....
(higher refreshrates will make the load on monitor and gf higher)

LCD sub-dead pixel question - Hello. I just bought a Cornea CT1810 LCD monitor and noticed an odd artifact which I've never seen before on other LCD's. I'll call them sub-dead pixels. Here's what I mean. On a black screen, there are on the order of 50 visible pixels that are not..
