Is your M/board set to jumperless/jumperfree for the processor speed? My
old Asus A7V133-C was doing this sort of thing when I bought and
installed a 1.4Ghz Athlon. Got advice from this N/G, set the FSB/
Multiplier switches on the M/board manually, and have never had the
problem since!
