Just bought one of these boards and am pretty impressed so far - thanks to
all the advice I received from this group which helped me make my choice.
Just a quick question - what standards exactly does the built in sound
support?
In games you get choices like EAX, A3D and so on but I'm not sure what to
select. There are options in the nForce control panel for Dolby Surround &
Dolby Digital but not sure what to do about these - presumably I need a
separate decoder for these? I have four speakers + a sub woofer (pcworks 4
point surround) which I don't think decodes Dolby stuff.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated - I've installed a couple of game
demos to test my new sytem out but I'm not sure about the audio options to
choose!
