Also if you are using winamp earlier than V.3 then installed winamp v3
you may have lost the back speakers. I had this happen after
installing v3 and both my earier version and updated one caused me to
loose my back speakers. I thought the chanles went out on the power
amp in the speakers. I use window media and all 4 speakers were
working. So you might uninsatll then re-install whatever program
you're using for your mp3's.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
