Post subject: soundblaster 5.1 live connector

Hi,

I asked to creative how to link the internal connector of the soundblaster
to a front drive bay card that has Mic and headphones sockets: they
answerred that the connection is copyrighted !!!

Is there anyone that knows this very very secret scheme ?

Probably because it's used for the Live Drive, which gives you more than
just headphones and microphones. You get MIDI connectors, optical
input/output, and a few other things. Kinda nice, but I can't get even get
my SB Live 5.1 Platinum to work anymore, much less the Live Drive. Sad It's
not the hardware. It has something to do with the driver install, I think.
