spanning multiple disks

Is there a way to burn a large file onto multiple cdr disks (e.g. backing up
a large hard drive)?

We have the nero 5.5 program but I don't see anything in the help files
about this.

I see that nero has an option for backing up an entire drive, but nothing
for backing up individual files that are larger than a cd disk. Anyone
know a way to do this?
