Windows XP pro
P4C800-E deluxe''''''New install
3.2 Prescott

When I boot, I press the F8 key that should take me to a screen that offers,
with other options, the chance to boot in Safe Mode.

I can not get this screen.

Any one seen this.??

Try this. Hit F8 right after ASUS logo screen disappears. Then you should
get a list of all your bootable devices. Then move to the hard drive that
your are using and hit F8 quick. You should then see the menu to do a Safe
Boot.
