I have one final issue to resolve before deciding which camera to buy. How
can I store pictures while travelling for three weeks? I wont be carrying a
laptop, and would want to store a good number of pictures. Are there any
alternatives to buying loads of memory cards/sticks? I am considering
buying my wife a creative zen jukebox to take her music along on, can I
store pictures on there direct from a camera? if so what outputs would I
need on a camera? or the archos multimedia jukebox advertises itself as
capable of storing pictures, but again can I get them on to it without
needing a pc? any help gratefully received.

Take a card reader, a copy of the drivers, and some blank CDs, then call in
to an internet cafe each day to download your cards and burn them onto CDs.

Malcolm.

With the low price of memory cards these days it may be economical to buy a
large card. I just bought a 512 Mb CF card on ebay for just over $100US.
It'll hold near 250 5 Mp photos. Another alternative is to buy a used
laptop. You don't need anything fancy to store photos.

I have a Lexar Jumpdrive 2.0.
I download my camera pics to a 'net cafe' computer and copy the files onto the
jumpdrive (512mb and no drivers required).
