I have a s1571 board (I think that's the # it's old) my serial mouse died, so I
got a ps2 mouse with the adapter (for free) and windows 98se will not find it I
tried everything I could think of, and I swear I had one on it before that used
the adapter (tried 2 diff adapters and checked the mouse on the other box I
have and it works)

What am i missing?
It's turned personal now I can't let a mouse kick my bu**
