hi i have an old vb601v mainbord and the bios is QB610. i want to have
a secont hdd whith 40 GB (Maxtor, fireball 3, ata 133). the bios
update is for pcb 1.4 but QB610 is at pcb 1.1 . what can i do??

hallo ich habe ein altes vb-601-v mainbord mit der bios version QB610.
ich will eine zeite festplatte (mextor, fireball 3, ata 133, 40 GB)
verwenden. das bios update bei fic ist für pcb 1.4 aber die version
QB610 hat pcb1.1 . was kann ich machen?

The best solution is to buy a PCI IDE controller that supports ATA 133.
That way, you get the full size and speed of your hard drive. Examples
include the Promise Ultra133 TX2, the Promise SATA TX2plus, the Highpoint
Rocket 133, and the Highpoint Rocket 133SB.

Die beste Lösung ist, ein PCI IDE Controller zu kaufen, der ATA 133
