I have AIW8500dv

I exchanged one monitor (same model) for a different issue and now I notice
the new monitor won't detect any signal over dvi during post.

I could have sworn the previous one was ok. My viewsonic vx900 is fine too.
Viewsonic support says it's a known issue and is due to the PC cpu (I have a
P4 3.0Mhz) is faster than the monitor's cpu. I get video onceI hit the XP
Welcome
screen.

Anyone else having same problem? Is this something that's even fixable if
it's in the monitor?

So, you get video once you hit the XP welcome screen. Then, what's the
problem?
