windows task manager

Post subject: windows task manager
Archived from groups: alt>comp>hardware (more info?)

When I open the windows task manager, I only get a square box with the
image name user name CPU mem usage coloums.
The applications processes performance networking options &
the file options view help ... bars somehow doesnt show up
anymore,. Hope I've made sense & someone will know a fix.

Using win XP sp2.

Just double click on the gray bar surrounding the task manager and the
tabs should come back.

REQ: Need help to get rid of CD drive in Device Manager - Device Manager shows a CD drive I don't have on the machine. Need help to remove Device Manager entries - I am still having trouble trying to get rid of the 'found new hardware wizard' for my Powerlook II scanner. So I need to approach this another way. I want to remove all entries under 'Imaging Devices' in Device Manager' and start over. They look like....
