Post subject: 2 wired LAN devices on one wireless port?
Archived from groups: comp>sys>ibm>pc>hardware>networking (more info?)

have a D-Link DWL-G820 to allow my PS2 to connect to my wireless
network.
Now I have a Hauppauge MediaMVP (wired) which also works when connected

to the D-Link.

What do I need to allow both the PS2 and the MVP to share the port on
the wireless adapter?
I tried using an old router, connecting the D-Link to the WAN port and
the other devices to the router ports, but neither one worked.

Only one device will need access at any given time: I just want to
avoid plugging/unplugging ethernet cables, as it's a hassle
re-establishing network connections.

Do I need a switch or a hub?

Cheers
