I had some problems getting my system up and running.
Wrong speed Ram that was not backwards compatible like Kingston said.
Defective Kingston's Ram (#2) would cause my computer to freeze at 18% of
WINXP install.
Finally got my system up and running with a different brand of Ram and
exchanged my Kingston for another one that seems to work fine too.
I also improved my power supply that slowed my errors coming. The errors
still came at exactly 18% on the install, but the blue screen took longer to
show it's ugly head.
So it may be your power supply. A little more information may help figure
out things.
Tom is right the MB should have a year, but if your CPU is OEM it maybe only
30 days.
